As the Director of AcqCenter, Smith sets the strategic direction for the company and works with clients to ensure their success utilizing DecisionPoint, OnTarget, and BIDS.

Smith has more than 17 years of government acquisition experience as a government contracting officer’s technical representative and as a consultant. He has worked with agencies ranging from the National Reconnaissance Office to the Office of Personnel Management to the Department of Housing and Urban Development and to the Environmental Protection Agency. He has created acquisition strategies, performance incentive plans, performance based statements of work, and source selection plans, and has guided more than 150 teams through the acquisition cycle. Smith also has experience in the proposal development cycle and helps commercial clients map out strategies for successful bid responses.
